Senior Program Officer – Infrastructure (Based in Kathmandu)
The Senior Program Officer – Infrastructure (SPO) will be responsible for understanding the potential impacts of infrastructures on conservation and develop strategic ways to address the issue in an amicable manner. S/he must have a Master’s degree with qualification in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering with at least five years of work experience in infrastructure development, environmental impact assessment/initial environmental examination is essential; roads and hydropower experience is preferred.
Ecotourism Officer (Based in Kathmandu)
The Ecotourism Officer will be responsible for implementation of WWF Nepal’s ‘Business Partnerships Platform’ in Madi and closing of the ‘Restore Ecotourism with Growth in Langtang National Park and Buffer zone Project’. S/he will assist in fundraising through the development of ecotourism programs, projects and networking. S/he must have a Master’s degree in Tourism Management or a related field with at least five years of experience in destination planning and management is required.
