Maintaining good working relationships with donors, CIMO Partners, and other stakeholders.
Experience developing networks and partnerships with national/regional/international institutions in Nepal and the Asia Region (including host country agencies, including central and local government, USAID, development partners, civil society, and community-based organizations) and spearheading donor collaboration, fundraising and project development.
Category: Strategic thinking and planning
Ability to help formulate and support a forward-looking business development strategy informed by regular engagements with donors, partners, peer organizations and coordination bodies.
Understanding and ability to analyze the changing political, social, cultural, environmental, and religious contexts of Nepal, and an ability to apply that analysis to program strategy, project design, and stakeholder engagement
Category: Strong communication and creating a supportive environment
Recognize opportunities for innovative action and create an environment where alternative viewpoints are welcomed

Hard Skills / Experience
Category: project design and proposal development
Experience in various aspects of design, fundraising, grant management, and implementation of programs and projects
Experience coordinating the production of good quality funding proposals and responds to calls for proposals.

Ensures the routine application of evidence and learning in program design, liaising with knowledge management, MEAL, technical, and program colleagues
Experience designing programs that are able to meet donor and internal obligations on scope, time and budget, including efficient coordination on common program, operational and funding issues
Category: identifying funding opportunities
Experience tracking and reviewing calls for proposals and identify opportunities that match CRS Nepal’s strategic interests
Experience ensuring accountability to affected populations and GESI considerations in project design Ensures that effective BD systems are in place and utilized
