  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field of study with three years of work experience OR Diploma in electrical engineering from vocational training centers with five years of work experience

Work experience:

Minimum of three years’ work experience in handling and management, installation, repair, and maintenance of hospital equipment, solar and electric appliances, heavy-duty hospital, and related facility equipment like imagery, autoclave, and laboratory equipment. Work experience with the government is an advantage. 

Skills and knowledge: 

  • Technical knowledge of electrical equipment and machines; power sizing and inventory  
  • Coordination and collaboration with Government institutions, Municipality, Provincial and district health offices, and health facilities 
  • Ability to manage technicians like electricians, mason, plumbers etc. for small scale projects

Reporting Relationship: 

The data Clarks will report to the Immunization Specialist in Katmandu, supported by theHealth Officer in a UNICEF Field Offices in Madesh, Lumbini and karnali provinces. 

Working Conditions:

The data Clarks /inventory data collectors will be based on the district vaccines stores/Health offices with frequent visits to the municipalities, vaccines stores, and health facilities within districts

Objectives: The objective of hiring the consultant is to help DOHS_ MOHP assess the Primary health care units (district hospital, PHC, and HPs) electric-powered medical equipment distribution, power requirements, and on-grid availability.
