NMICS announces vacancy for the positions of:

  • Field Work Data Enumerators /Field Work Interviewer.
  • Field Work Anthropometric Measurers/Water Quality Testers (Measurers).
  • Field Work Supervisor.

Interested candidates fulfilling the criteria as stated below can apply for the positions.

Field Work Data Enumerators /Field Work Interviewer.

Qualifications:

1)Education: Minimum class 12 pass, preferably with mathematics.

2)Experience: Preference will be given to candidate who have 2-5 years of experience in similar surveys/census and have done data entry work.

3)Competency: Fluency in English and Nepali, computer literate & familiarity with Microsoft Office software, capable of using tablets for data  entry and Nepali typing is an added advantage.

4)Sex/Age: Female aged of 18 -40 years.

5) Must be a Nepali Citizen

The data enumerators should be willing to be placed in any of the geographic regions such as Mountain, Hill or Terai is a prerequisite for this work.

As this assignment involves working across the country, therefore, preference will be given to candidate from diverse culture and geography from across the seven provinces of Nepal.

 

Field Work Anthropometric Measurers/Water Quality Testers (Measurers).

Qualifications:

1) Education: Minimum class 12 pass, preferably in science stream with Biology/Chemistry.

2) Experience: Preference will be given to candidate who have 2-5 years of work experience in similar surveys/census and have done data entry work.

3) Competency: Fluency in English and Nepali, computer literate & familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc), capable of using tablets for data entry and Nepali typing is an added advantage.

4) Age/Sex: For male 18-35 years and for female 18-40 years.

5) Must be a Nepali National

The responsibility of the anthropometric measurers & water quality testers is to collecting samples of household water and testing it; measure size, shape and composition of children, and ensure that the information they collect and record is accurate.

The anthropometric measurers & water quality testers should be willing to be placed in any of the geographic regions such as Mountain, Hill or Terai is a prerequisite for this work.

As this assignment involves working across the country, therefore, preference will be given to candidate from diverse culture and geography from across the seven provinces of Nepal.

 

Field Work Supervisor

Qualifications:

1) Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree, preferably with statistics and Mathematics.

2) Experience: Relevant work experience of minimum 3 years in managing big surveys, preferably at the national level surveys or census.

3) Competency: Fluency in English and Nepali, computer literate & familiarity with Microsoft Office software, capable of using tablets for data entry and Nepali typing is an added advantage.

4) Age/Sex: For male 18-35 and for female 18-40 years

5) Must be Nepali Citizen

 

The responsibility of the field work supervisor is to lead, supervise and manage a team of four that included three enumerators and one anthropometric measurer/water quality tester

The field work supervisor should be willing to be placed in any of the geographic regions such as Mountain, Hill or Terai is a prerequisite for this work.

As this assignment involves working across the country, therefore, preference will be given to candidate from diverse culture and geography from across the seven provinces of Nepal.
