TECHNICAL EXPERTISE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge and Experience

  • Master’s Degree with 2-3 years of related experience or Bachelor Degree with 4-5 related experience
  • Knowledge of financial management issues 
  • Knowledge of Nepal  finance regulations 
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, Control standards and risk management techniques and the reporting requirements of major international grant donors 
  • Proven experience in dealing with NGO/CBO/Government for partnership related issues
  • Managing over US$ 5 million budget for partners program is preferred 
  • INGO work experience with large number of big partners is preferred
  • Sound knowledge of partnership management/regulation with government requirement.  

Skills

  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills;
  • Demonstrated analytical, independent and strategic thinking;
  • Strong communication, coordination and negotiation skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive and trustworthy relations for influencing;
  • Experience in managing time and resource constraints;
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English and Nepali in order to communicate complex and technical information to technical and general audiences; and
  • Proven IT skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.
