ROLE PURPOSE:
The Project Officer is responsible for supporting the effective planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of child-friendly education projects. The role ensures the quality delivery of child-centered, inclusive, and safe education interventions in alignment with organizational standards, donor requirements, and local education priorities.
The position plays a key role in strengthening child-friendly teaching and learning practices, promoting inclusive and protective school environments, supporting school systems, facilitating training and community engagement activities, and ensuring that project interventions contribute to improved access, participation, retention, well-being, and learning outcomes for children.
The role requires regular field engagement, close coordination with schools and local stakeholders, and adherence to safeguarding standards, organizational policies, and donor compliance requirements.
