Position Title: Health Promotion Officer

Project: Promoting Health in Schools – Phase II

Project Area: Phaktanglung and Sirijangha Rural Municipalities, Taplejung District

Reports To: District Program Officer/ Program Coordinator, Action for Nepal (AF Nepal)

Duty Station: Based in Phungling, Taplejung District with frequent field travel to project schools and municipalities

Duration: Fixed-term (~3 years): April 2026 – December 2028

The Health Promotion Officer (HPO) will lead field implementation of the Promoting Health in Schools Phase II project under the guidance of the District Program Officer and Program Coordinator. The HPO will coordinate, implement, and monitor all school-based health promotion interventions in targeted schools and health facilities of Phaktanglung RM and Sirijangha RM.

The position plays a crucial role in strengthening school-level health promotion, delivering teacher training, liaising with local stakeholders, and ensuring project activities are implemented effectively, inclusively, and sustainably.
